About Us

The Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WimberleyArts) was formed in 2013 by nearly two dozen local businesses and organizations, in the belief that arts and culture enhance economic viability and quality of life. The organization was granted 501(c)(3) status in 2014 with a vision to cultivate a thriving cultural arts community that enriches the spirit and creativity of the Wimberley Valley. In September 2024, WimberleyArts was awarded a Community Excellence Award, “in recognition of your lasting impact on the Valley’s cultural landscape...” This is the city’s highest award and only the fifth such award ever presented.
